Advanced Analytical & Characterization Resource (AACR) Facility
To sustain the innovation chain of novel ideas and enterprises, the
Society for Biotechnology Incubation Centre (SBTIC) was established in 2102, as
a collective effort of Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India, the
then Govt. of A.P, and CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT).
The main activity of the Society is not only to promote the cause of
biotechnology but also provide support for its growth in the Genome Valley,
Shameerpet, Hyderabad. Subsequently, SBTIC proposed a ‘BIRAC Innovation
Resource Centre’ (BioRC) in the Genome Valley, to extend its support to the BTIC
in the following areas.
1. Advance Analytical and Characterization Resources.
2. Patent Facilitation.
3. Digital Science Library.
4. Experts Portfolio and Database.
5. Finishing School
6. Regulatory Management Services.
AACR facility is well equipped with advanced analytical instruments like (AACR Brochure)
-
FT-NMR (500 Mz),
-
LC-Q-TOF/MS/MS,
-
HPLC
-
Multimode (UV-Vis, Fluorescence, Luminescence) reader
with an objective to offer a wide range of knowledge based analytical
services to biotech, pharma, chemical and allied industries not only in
developing innovative biotech processes but also help in assessing the quality
and performance of the biotech/pharma products to meet national and
international standards.
